Manuel Vigil, 72, a much beloved and respected husband, father, grandfather and brother, passed away August 17, 2016. He was born in Sand Arroyo, Colorado on February 13, 1944. Preceded in death by his parents Raymundo and Teresina Vigil; his siblings, Raymond, Roger and Jim Vigil, Ninfa Ortega, and Carrie Martinez. Manuel is survived by his loving wife, Wanda; children, Cathy (Tom) Cordova, Arthur Gaytan, Gabrielle Sanchez, Jon Travis (Nadine) Vigil, and Jennifer (Anthony) Ortibez. He leaves his pride and joy, grandchildren, Jamie and Tommy Cordova, Tony Sanchez and Joey Medina, Kevin Morrison, Madison and Isabella Gaytan; Ariana, Selena and Olivia Vigil, Kaylee, Emalee, Mark and Shawn Ortibez, Jenna and Eric Vigil. One great grand daughter, Kaela Garcia. He is also survived by his siblings, Jerry (Mary Ann) Vigil, Bernice (Don) Garcia, Ida Martin, and Dorothy (Larry) Vallejos. He leaves numerous nieces and nephews, so many it will fill a page. He also leaves behind such devoted, wonderful friends, whom he loved and worked with.
Services will be Saturday, August 27th at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Catholic Church, Walsenburg, Colorado.
