Carol Belt, his Wife of 62 years; Bill and I went to high school together. We did not date until after high school and he got out of the Marines. He asked me to marry him- I wasn’t ready to say yes. He said OK but I won’t ask you again. Within 2 days I knew he was the one for me. So I asked him to marry me. We tied the knot on August 15, 1959. Then the adventures began. In 1960 I became pregnant with our first child. Bill wanted to move to Colorado so off we went to our new home. We joined the Christian Motorcycle Club. After he retired we bought a boat and an RV trailer. We traveled all over the country. We were also very active in politics and Gideon's. Bill was a great husband. He was a hard working good provider. You can see how our 4 daughters loved him as I have for 62 plus years. It is very lonely without him. Thanks to God’s Grace I will carry on until we meet again in Heaven.

His youngest Daughter, Rebeca Imgrund and Grandson Joseph of Monument, CO “I thought I would never be saying goodbye to my hero! He was invincible, my daddy! He fought so many battles in life and won, but now he has gone to be with the Lord to serve as his warrior! My dad was the best father a daughter could have, a strong Godly man, protector. Although a gentle hand that guided his daughters and surrounded us with love. He was an example of what a Godly family man and father should be. I was his little tomboy, he didn't have a son( 4 crazy daughters). I would spend my time following my dad, going on runs with him, working out, hunting, fishing, sports. He would always brag about my accomplishments, but he was the one that made them happen. That smile he had! His strong crushing hugs you couldn't avoid! He was Joseph's papa! The best papa in the world to a little boy. Papa was so cool, he would share stories of his police years and adventures. He always begged papa to shoot guns with him. William Glenn Belt was the most amazing Godly dad, husband, grandpa, brother, uncle, friend, police officer. Anyone would have been lucky to cross his path. Now my Jacob has his papa in heaven with him to hold him I love you my daddy, a legend will never die”

His 3rd Daughter Beth of Denver, CO. “Very sad of My Dad’s passing. I remember the days when we were young. Mom took us to Church every Sunday no matter what. She would struggle with Dad not going as he worked night shifts, after all night shifts were more exciting as a Police Officer! ( That’s what Dad would tell Mom). Then, with much Prayer from Mom and Daughter’s active in the Church, Dad, knowing Christ all his life, Truly Gave his life to Christ sometime after I was 5 and gave my life to the Lord. I remember it vividly, as I was very passionate about the Lord Jesus Christ and I devoted my Life to Him and was so excited that my Dad felt the same way! Amen. I after all was his favorite (smirk ha Love You Sisters) and was so Joyous about his choice. You can't imagine how blessed we were to have such a Faithful Man of God as a Father! He vetted every suitor with his background checks and sometimes intimidated and chased them off. I was not always happy about that, but came to appreciate at least one that he really kicked his butt, a very abusive Man. Praise my Hero for protecting me always. I remember the days at the farm, days of fishing, days of camping, days of shooting tournaments where he let us compete as “Annie Oakleys,” days of Movies and special talks and just joyous days of laughter! The best Dad Ever!! Then, the troubles I gave Him some years, but he always Loved me and showed me what a true Christian Man was, so perhaps no other Man ever measured up to MY Dad! He was my Super Hero as I would tell Him many times through his recoveries and especially when I was Blessed to help with his Rehabilitation after people thought he wouldn’t make it. Receiving the help of Mom and Sisters of course ..... He was my Superman!! SO VERY BLESSED by this I believe almost five years ago! So I was very Blessed to have my Daddy for 5 more years! Amen! This last bout, I believe, was just too much for him to take on and he was tired and didn’t want to rehabilitate. His heart gave out in the middle of the night. (May I be so blessed to go so peacefully) He was ready to go Home to the Lord!! And will have no more pain. I will miss him SO, his strength, and his orneriness as well! The best Man I have ever known! So blessed to have a Father that was a Man of God! He WAS MY SUPERMAN Heart and Soul
Prayer Warriors were Amazing and he seemed to recover, but he was just too tired. Bless All and Love”

His 2nd Daughter Brenda of Centennial, CO. “Goodbye to a wonderful Dad and Grandfather! He was a very strong role model and raised us all to love our God! I will miss him very much, but now he is with my Caiter holding her in heaven. You were a hard worker and provider. You were always there for us and helped with anything we needed even when we were grown and on our own. You have been through a lot and now you can fly with the angels with no more pain. Love you so so much!”

His oldest daughter, Belinda of Englewood, CO “My daddy is now in heaven dancing and passed away right where he wanted to in his favorite chair. He was my encourager, prayer warrior, gave me a strong work ethic, and showed me deep true love. I will miss him and love him very much, but I know he's in a better place! My daddy was a strong ex-marine, police officer and a daughter's true daddy/hero, which is why his daughters look to God as their strength!
