Obituary for Sharon Lynn Daher (Hudson)

Sharon Lynn Daher, 69, of Walsenburg, ended her hard-fought battle with pancreatic cancer
and ascended to heaven to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 2, 2022.
Sherri was born on March 7, 1952, in Pueblo and spent nearly her entire life in “The Burg.” To
know her was to understand true, deep, unconditional love. If you were lucky enough to spend
even a few seconds in her presence, you were cradled in her kind, loving, nurturing, loyal,
funny, beautiful, creative, and supportive spirit. She was as caring to her family and friends as
she was to people she just met. She was easy to love and to like. Sherri was an incredibly active
member of both her school, church and general community. She taught day care, loved
aerobics (and possibly Jazzercise, although not confirmed), bowling, and spent her life
dedicated to worship in Bible study and other involvements at Children’s Church.
Her dearest loved ones left behind include: husband Bob Daher, mother Floy Hudson, mother-in-law Fran Montoya, sisters Sandy Dissler (Dick) and Sheila Macchietto (Chuck), and brother
Butch Hudson (Evie),brother-in-law Jim(Jan) Daher and sister-in-law Lou Ann (Chuck) Wolny. Her children, the loves of her life, include: Charlcy (Ralph) Romero, Kari
(Chad) Hribar, Travis (Rachel) Daher and Trista (Andrew) Meeks as well as her nine
grandchildren: Theo and Hayven Romero; Grant and Hudson Hribar; Charly Ray, Trey and Tripp
Daher; and Wren and Vivien Meeks and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and very dear friends. She was preceded in death by her father Charles Hudson,
sister Susie Ariano, and niece Lennie Malarsie.
Where we lost someone so beloved, Heaven welcomed one of its best back home. Even in the
hardest of times, while she courageously battled pancreatic cancer, she remained steadfast in
her faith as a deeply devoted Christian. There isn't a doubt that she had a special place in
heaven waiting for her. We hope it has a view of the Spanish Peaks.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 19th at the John Mall High School gymnasium at 11
a.m.. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations on behalf of Sharon Daher be made to:
