Obituary for Rodney Dunnan
Mr. Rodney Dunnan II. of Walsenburg, Co. entered into rest on Friday, April 29, 2022. Mr. Dunnan was at his caregivers’ home and in peaceful slumber when God called him home.
Rod was cared for by dear friends, and leaves behind many who will always keep his memory alive.
Mr. Dunnan was born in Texas but was always a native of Colorado, even serving in law enforcement in Colorado Springs for many years until a collision with a drunk driver during a high-speed chase stunted his career. He lived with constant pain after this event, and later was diagnosed with cancer. It is because of this that we all feel at peace with his passing but will miss him very much.

There will be no traditional services held per Rod’s wishes; simply a private memorial; a gathering of friends and spreading of ashes. Cards and/or flowers may be sent to the following address: 202 W. 9th St. (Walsenburg, Co 81089).
