Obituary for Robert Hasenack

Robert "Bob" Hasenack was born September 21, 1932 at the head of the Huerfano river near Redwing, Colorado. He passed away January 8, 2024 at the Spanish Peaks Veterans Home. He is preceded in death by his parents August and Mary Ellen Hasenack; and three step brothers and three
step sisters. Bob is survived by his wife Irene; daughters Dianne Wagenfehr - Vernon, and Roberta Hasenack. One granddaughter Kasie Phillips -
Aaron and two great grandsons. One sister Pauline Naney and numerous nieces and nephews.


Robert went to work for Goemmer Cattle Company at the age of sixteen. He served his country in the Navy for four years during the Korean conflict.
He was stationed in Japan and the Kwajalein Islands as a Seabee. After an honorable discharge, he returned to the Goemmer Ranch where he
continued to work as the Foreman for 43 years.

He married Irene Kimbrel on September 13, 1958. They had two daughters, Dianne and Roberta they raised on the ranch. He loved to hunt and fish.
Leather work was another favorite hobby.

Bob spent his life ranching and farming and wouldn't have had it any other way.

He will be deeply missed by family and his many friends.
