Obituary for Robert Daher

Robert Allen Daher, known to most as Bob or Bobby, peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven on May 13, 2023, to spend eternity alongside his beloved wife Sherri.

Bob was born on June 28, 1952 and spent nearly his entire life in southern Colorado.

Bob learned his strong work ethic at the early age of 8 years old when he worked for Jim Houghton and then his father at Dan’s Enco. He worked his whole life to provide for his family and had a long and successful career at Arco now known as BP. After his retirement, he spent the sunset years of his life visiting his kids and grandkids across the country, watching the Broncos, Nuggets, Blue Bloods, Fox News, Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives and working in his yard.

He was a loving husband, devoted father, dedicated coach and boss, loyal water dog and friend to many. Although he was known as a man of few words, he made them count when it truly mattered and inspired and protected his flock. He was methodical, purposeful, and thoughtful in everything he did, and his attention to detail, inquisitive mind, and relentless work ethic permeated into each of his children. He was forever helpful, loyal, dedicated, encouraging, honest, respected, insightful and put his family above all else. He was always available to lend a hand and knew how to fix anything. He had wonderful taste in music (especially oldies), never missed a game and always put up a fight to pay the bill (he always won). He was truly a man among men and left a legacy of “a job well done is the reward of hard work.”

Bob is survived by his children: Charlcy (Ralph) Romero, Kari (Chad) Hribar, Travis (Rachel) Daher, and Trista (Andrew) Meeks as well as his nine grandchildren: Theo and Hayven Romero; Grant and Hudson Hribar; Charly, Trey and Tripp Daher; and Wren and Vivien Meeks. He was the middle child of Daniel and Frances Daher, brother of Jim (Jan) Daher and Lou Ann (Charles) Wolny. He was preceded in death by his father, Daniel and his wife of 47 years, Sharon Daher.

At Bobs request there will be no service held at this time, the family will have a private graveside service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations on behalf of Robert Daher be made to:
