Nelma June Williams
June 6, 1919 – September 24, 2020, 101 passed away unexpectedly in Pueblo, CO. Born in Kansas, in a little unknown town, she couldn’t remember after a century she says. Her mother and stepfather moved to California when she was ten and proceeded living there until she met the love of her life, Lyle Williams and moved to Walsenburg to the family ranch. They were married for sixty years before Lyle passed away in March of 1999.
Besides ranching in Walsenburg, they resided and ranched also in Sedalia, Colorado. Born of this union was an only child, Diane.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Williams, sister Ruby Gayley and mother Blanche Faulkner and stepfather Stanley Faulkner.
She had a strong Christian belief, was an avid reader, loved gardening and flowers. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Diane and son-in-law Dick Perkins, grandchildren Melanie and Greg Spaeth and great grandchildren Haley and Paige Rorabach.
Services will be Thursday, October 1, 11:00 a.m. at Masonic Cemetery. (Today!) Graveside by Pastor Lionel Palacios from New Hope Ministries.
