Louis H. Valdez 80, Born October 17, 1939 in Redwing, (Colonias) Colorado departed, and went to eternal rest with our Lord on March 5, 2020. Louis resided at the University Park Care Center, Pueblo Colorado for the past 13-years, and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Louis retired from the CF& I (Coke Plant-1982) after 20- years of service. He was married to Martha (Castro) Valdez on January 31, 1959. They were married for 61-years. Preceded in death by his parents Petrolino, and Margarita Valdez, brothers Gene (Charlie) Valdez, and Floyd Valdez. Survived by his sister Suzanne Valdez, Victorville California - his sons Dean R. (Elaine) Valdez, Terence L. (Sharon) Valdez, Kenneth D. (Vickie) Valdez, and Rodney D. (Melanie) Valdez. Louis also was blessed with 13- Grandchildren, and numerous Great Grandchildren, along with several nieces, and nephews. Rosary will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2020 at St. Mary’s Church 121 E., 7th Street, Walsenburg, Colorado. Catholic Mass will follow at 11:00 a.m.
