Obituary for Lawrence Ogle
Lawrence Edward Ogle, age 79 passed away September 18, 2021
Lawrence was born on October 1, 1941 in Richmond Indiana to parents David and Emma Ogle.
He was a loving Father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
He was an incredible man of God, the patriarch of his family, and touched so many lives with his strong faith, love and beautiful wisdom.
He was also a proud member of our Armed Forces where he gave 20 years of service, 10 in the Marines and 10 in the army. He did 2 years in Vietnam as a helicopter door gunner and was awarded the “Purple Heart” for being wounded in action against an enemy of the United States.
He is survived by his brother Terry Ogle, daughter Angie & son in law William, son Larry & daughter in law Monika, 7 grandchildren: Amber, Lawrence, Michael, Erik, Nicole, Allanah, Winston and 3 great-grandchildren: Sidney, Charlotte and Jensen, a host of
nieces & nephews and his dogs Jake and Stretch
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Emma Ogle, his siblings James, David Jr., Gus, Robert, Sylvester, Phyllis, Bronston, and Mitchell, and first wife Venita.
Although his bright smile and infectious personality will be deeply and forever missed, there is comfort in knowing that he is present with the Lord
