Obituary for Josephine Rogers

Josephine (Jo) Marie Rogers passed away on April 19, 2022. Josephine was born on April 29, 1947 to Steven and Mary Dolzanie in Rouse, Colorado. She married George R. Rogers on November 24, 1964. Josephine worked at Harry’s Steak House, LaVeta Lodge and retired from Charlies after working there for 35 years.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, George R. Rogers; her children George V. (Carrol) Rogers and Judy Heathcock; grandchildren Randy (Kacee) Rogers; Brittani (Samuel) Patrick; Brodi Heathcock; Brad (Stephanie) Gonzales and Ressa Gonzales (Dallas Stock); great-grandchildren Luke, Owen, Haiven & Zayn Patrick; Kolten & Haizen Rogers; Karsin & Kamrin Mc Graw; sister-in-law Georgia Rogers and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Steven and Mary Dolzanie; brothers Steve and Bobby and sisters Mary Ann and Betty.
Jo loved bowling, watching PBR and football, George Strait, Elvis, picking mushrooms and pinon nuts, hunting for arrowheads, and spending time with her family.
She spent a lot of time watching her bunnies and the birds outside her window. Jo enjoyed going to car shows with George in the 1930 Model A Ford that he built and painted purple since it was Jo’s favorite color.
