Joseph Lee Aldretti was born April 19, 1970, at Camp Pendleton in Oceanside, California to Joseph Anthony Aldretti and Georgia Dimetra Penaki. He grew up in Walsenburg, Co on his family ranch which ingrained a love for the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and archer. He loved to spend his free time doing those things and sharing his knowledge with all that would listen. He worked in construction his entire life but was most proud of the time he worked in concrete in Denver, Colorado. He was most recently employed by Huerfano County. His greatest love though were his children. All that knew him, knew he was not a man of soft words, but he would light up when he talked about his Sidney and Colton. Joe passed away on July 18, 2021, at the age of 51 after a long health battle. He leaves behind his daughter Sidney Jo Aldretti (19), his son Joseph Colton Aldretti (16), ex-wife Teri King-Schwab, brother Anthony (Krissy) Aldretti, brother Mario DiMatteo, Mother Georgia Penaki, stepfather Gene Marsee along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Anthony Aldretti, grandparents Mary and Ermer Andreatta and Joseph Frank Aldretti.
