John Jay Olivas, 61, died December 20 2019 at his home in Walsenburg, Colorado. John Jay Olivas was born April 3, 1958 i Pueblo, Colorado to John and Gloria Olivas. Jay could accomplish anything he set his mind to do. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was stationed at Fort Ord, CA. He moved to Walsenburg to retire. Jay is survived by his mother Gloria Olivas (Emmet Bellville); sister Debra (Bruce) Garner; brother Danny D. Olivas; nieces Barbara (Jordan) Seukpanya and Crystal (Allan) Connelly; his great nephew Isaac Connelly; great niece Alanna Connelly as well as many very loved family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father John Olivas; his grandmother Ophelia Martinez and his only nephew, Danny D. Olivas, Jr.
