Obituary for James Wallace "Spider" Correnti

Jim aka "Spider" was born on August 25, 1937 to Mamie and Tony Correnti. He lived his entire life in Walsenburg except, while proudly serving in the Navy for four years. Jim was an entrepanuer and ran several businesses with his father, first managing a Restaurant & Gas Station with his dad and then going to the Standard Service Station on North Main Street then later taking over Tony's Standard on 7th & Main, where he ran it until his retirement. Jim enjoyed years of gardening, bowling, fishing, hunting, boating and teaching his family so much about nature.

Jim was known very well around the community and he will be missed tremendously by so many. He is survived by his loving family/spouses; Kelly (Roy) Ellsworth, Gary (Sherry) Correnti, Melissa (Michael) Garcia, Christopher (Ashley) Correnti, brother John (Barbara0 Correnti and sister, Terri (Morris) Gioga, 13 grandchildren who loved him, nieces and nephews and cousin. Jim was preceded by his parents Mamie and Tony, grandparents Jiacamo and Josephine Correnti, Myrtle and George Haddow.

James Jeffrey "Jeff" Correnti passed away unexpectedly on October 9 and the very next day, October 10th, our father James Wallace Correnti passed away. They were extremely close and life would have been so lonely with out one another. We believe they are together in heaven, fishing for all the big ones that got away.

Cremation has taken place and a family celebration of life and burial will be held at a later date.
