Obituary for Fransisco "Frank" Garcia
Francisco “Frank” Garcia passed away peacefully in his home in Walsenburg on April 15th, 2022, surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Badito Colorado on November 2, 1932 and lived in Huerfano County most of his life, except for his time with the Marines.
Frank was well known for his many years of service to the school district as a bus driver, eighteen years to be exact that he cared for the children in his route. When he retired, he spent a lot more time fishing and hanging out with his dog.
At his request, Frank wished to be cremated with no services. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. The family would like to express their gratitude to Sangre de Cristo Hospice for their loving care. Arrangements made by Boies-Ortega Funeral Home.
