Obituary for Elizabeth Ann Alberici

Elizabeth Ann Alberici

Born on 9-16-49 in Baldwyn, MS. Liz moved to Pueblo Colorado in 1967 and married Mario E.
Alberici on 9/23/67. They moved and built a home with their three beloved children in Navajo
Ranch Walsenburg, Colorado, until she passed away from cancer on 4/17/20 with her family by
her side.
Elizabeth, Liz, Sis & Granny was what she was best known by. Mother to Mario Paul Alberici,
Kimberly Ann Alberici, and John Anthony Alberici. As an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother she attended every program, sport event, birthday and her favorite of all, Christmas. She was filled with care, love, comfort, and knew nothing but giving to others from the kindness of her heart. She could make the worries of the world lift away by listening and loved with her whole heart.
Her family was everything to her. She had five grandkids who she adored and would give anything to. Kaila and Ariana; daughters of Mario and Jodi Alberici. Jared and Dillon Crump
sons of Kim Alberici, and Alex, daughter of John and Amanda Alberici.
Liz and Mario were married for 53 years and spent their time traveling to many places, Hawaii as Liz’s favorite, but nothing could compare to their annual camping trips.
Liz was a quilter and loved gifting her quilts to her family as a remembrance of her love. Each
pattern as intricate as the love for each one of her kids. She made charity quilts with her
Scrappy Lady family who would donate them to hospice patients, nursing homes, and the V.A.
hospital.
Liz was a gift to the world and lived her life always giving and never expecting anything in
return. She will be greatly missed by everyone that knew her, her southern accent, blue eyes, and warm smile. Rest with God.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Their number is 1-866-278-5833. Private services will be held with family later this summer.
