Cora was born February 28, 1917 in the Rouse Mining Camp to Quirino and Catarina Menegatti. She died February 26, 2019 at the Sharmar Village Nursing Home where she had resided for the last two years. She is 101 years old.
Cora grew up on a ranch in Rouse with her parents. She attended the John Dand School through the eighth grade.
She worked very hard on the ranch until she later met Jacob Hribar, who she married on February 8, 1947. They had two children, a daughter Joyce, and a son, Jim.
Cora is survived by her daughter Joyce (Tim) Davis, her son Jim (Rhonda) Hribar. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren and many numerous nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all.
Funeral services are being handled by Boies-Ortega Funeral Home. Viewing will be on March 5, 2019 from 1:00 pm to 5;00 pm at Boies- Ortega Funeral Home. Rosary will be on March 6, 2019 at 7:00 pm. Funeral Service will 10:30 am on March 7, 2019. Rosary and Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's Church in Walsenburg.
