Caroline T Hurtado, passed away peacefully in her sleep and truly becoming free, went home to her Lord on July 4, 2020, in Pueblo, CO at Sangre de Cristo Joni Fare Hospice House. Caroline was born in Walsenburg, CO March 7, 1925, and lived most her life in her hometown, being a devoted member of St. Mary Catholic Church. Recently she moved to Pueblo, living at Belmont Care Center before her death.
Her family was her life and she was their rock. She will sadly be missed by all her loving children, Jim (Peggy) Martinez, Oras (Lena) Martinez, Roger (Chris Garcia) Martinez, Donna Martinez all of Longmont Colorado; Anna Cintron of North Carolina and Rose Kastanek and Georgia Rogers of Pueblo, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Joseph Martinez and husband Louis Hurtado.
A private family service gathering at another date is planned. Arrangements made by Boies-Ortega Funeral Home.
