Obituary for Donald Lloyd "Don" Evans

Donald Lloyd Evans passed away April 5,2019 in Pueblo, CO. Don was born in Hutchinson, Kansas to Lee T. & Luella Evans. He was the oldest of four children.
Don was raised in a blacksmith shop where his Grandfather taught him to weld, build and design anything he wanted to do. Don designed & built all the homes he lived in throughout his life. He was a master welder, plumber, electrician, general handyman & pilot. Don was a Flight Instructor & Charter Pilot when he met his wife of 50 years. He was a Master Mason and Past Master of Black Hawk Lodge #11 AF & AM.
In his younger years he enjoyed riding motorcycles , his last being matching Gold Wings so he and his wife could ride together comfortably. His last project was designing and custom building motor homes using over the road retired MCI buses. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed visiting family & friends across the country using the last motor home he converted.
He was preceded in death by his parents Lee & Luella, his sister Marcelene, his son-in-law Jimmy Jones, his father-in-law Judge Andrew Krodshen and mother-in-law Breta Krodshen, and his first wife Joan Campbell. Don is survived by his wife Karen, daughters Donna Jones and Lori (Dan) Scantlan, brothers Gary (Paula) Evans, Dennis (Diana) Evans,, Grandson Eric Jones(Joanne), great grandsons Ian & Sean along with many nieces and nephews. Private services currently and in June a celebration of life will be held.
