Wanda Britt, 54, of Walsenburg, Colorado born on July 16, 1964 in Barstow California, entered into her eternal life on December 4, 2018. Wanda passed away surrounded by her loved ones after a short and difficult battle with cancer. Wanda was an integral part of the community and made an impact on all of those she encountered. Wanda was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother to her 6 grandchildren and friend. Her kindness will forever touch the hearts of all of those she met. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Ortiz, children, Sabrina Retzlaff, Jessica Retzlaff and husband Benito Martinez, Jonathan and wife Sarah Ortiz, and Sara and wife Nicole Gallegos, grandchildren Estevan and Andres Martinez, Alyssa Andjelkovich, and Isabella, Daniel and Susan Ortiz, siblings Donald (Rose) Britt, Kirsten (late Tranquillino) Sandoval and Pauline Britt. She is preceded in death by her parents James ans Lena Britt.
